Questions people ask

Frequently asked questions

Yes. Every self-assessment on this page is free and there is no charge to see your result. The specialised psychological assessments are clinical sessions administered by a psychologist, so those are booked like any other consultation.
SehatYab's assessments are designed to be quick and easy, typically taking 5 to 10 minutes to complete. There is no timer, so take as long as you need on any question that makes you stop and think.
No. While SehatYab's tests are scientifically designed to assess mental health indicators, they are not a replacement for a professional diagnosis. A diagnosis needs a clinical interview with a licensed psychologist or psychiatrist. An assessment tells you whether that conversation is worth having.
Yes. All assessments on SehatYab are conducted in a secure and confidential manner. Your responses and results are private and not shared with anyone, including family members, employers or universities.
If you are an adult and unsure, start with the Adults Mental Health Assessment. If the pressure is from work, take the Stress & Burnout Assessment; from study, the Student Stress & Exam Anxiety Assessment. For a marriage or household, take the Marital Conflict Patterns or Family Communication & Conflict assessment. For a child, the Child Mental Health Assessment.
Treat it as information, not a verdict. The next step is a first consultation with a clinical psychologist or, where symptoms are severe, a psychiatrist. A high score does not commit you to therapy, medication or a diagnosis.
For a child, yes: the child and learning assessments are designed to be completed by a parent or guardian. For another adult, it is better to encourage them to complete it themselves, since their own report is more accurate than an outside observation.
