He is highly experienced in diagnosing and managing common, rare and complex psychiatric disorders, i.e. Depression, anxiety, OCD, psychosis, Eating disorders, Personality disorders, substance misuse and addition disorders.
Dr. Ather has CCT in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and is an internationally recognised specialist in the diagnosis and management of childhood mental disorders i.e., Autism, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Behavioural and conduct disorders, Phobias, Behavioural and genetic syndromes associated with psychiatric Disorders. Behavioural therapy, motivational therapy. He is also trained in general old age and psychiatry of learning disability.
