Frequently Asked Questions
How do I know which therapy package is right for me?
The right package depends on how long you have been experiencing stress and how significantly it is affecting your daily life. If you are in the early stages with mild symptoms, the Starter Package is ideal. If stress has persisted for several weeks or is affecting your performance and relationships, the Standard Recovery Package is recommended. If you are experiencing significant burnout, emotional exhaustion, or mood disturbance, the Restoration Package provides the most comprehensive support. Your therapist will conduct a thorough assessment at the first session to confirm the best fit.
What is the difference between stress and burnout?
Stress typically involves feeling overwhelmed or under pressure but still being emotionally engaged. Burnout is characterised by emotional exhaustion, increasing detachment or cynicism, and a reduced sense of personal efficacy. Burnout often develops after prolonged, unresolved stress. Our packages are structured to address both conditions at each stage of progression.
Are sessions conducted in person or online?
Both options are available. Sessions can be conducted face-to-face in a private clinical setting or via secure video consultation, depending on your preference and location. The therapeutic approach and outcomes are equally effective across both formats.
How are progress and outcomes measured during therapy?
We use two validated psychological assessment tools: the Kessler Psychological Distress Scale (K10) and the WHO-5 Wellbeing Index. These are administered at the start of the package and again at the end, allowing both you and your therapist to see measurable improvement. The Restoration Package also includes a mid-point assessment at Week 4.
Can I upgrade to a higher package if I need more support?
Yes. If during your package it becomes evident that you would benefit from more sessions or a different level of care, your therapist will discuss transitioning to an appropriate package. There is no obligation to remain in a package that is not meeting your needs.
What happens if I have severe depression or am at risk of self-harm?
If you are experiencing severe depression, high psychological distress, or thoughts of self-harm, a psychiatric evaluation is recommended before entering a therapy package. Your safety is the priority, and our therapists will ensure appropriate referrals and coordination of care if required.
